
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born on February 22, 1975, is an American actress, director , and producer. She also hosts an talk show, host and is an author. She is part of the Barrymore actor family. She has won a variety of awards and nominations , including an Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. She was honored with an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore achieved fame as a child actor through her breakthrough part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a difficult childhood, filled with drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She was a part of numerous films that became popular during the 1990s and 2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore played alongside Adam Sandler in three films The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Other films she's starred in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. She also appeared in her directorial debut film Whip It. She won a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Grey Gardens. She was in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.
