Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently working with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street' and Closing Bell'. A native of Ohio native who was not attracted to the world of markets and currencies when she was in college. She interned at ForexTV.com when she was an undergraduate at New York University. There she had her first encounter with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. After that, she did an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to the US and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. Then, she became a anchor on television. CNBC hired her as a correspondent in December 2013. She was a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange' and 'Power Lunch' before landing the position on "Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. One of the most well-known journalist in the business world today her main area of interest has been global consumer news since joining CNBC.
