Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for the duration of three of the final four seasons. The first two albums she made as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the show that helped her debut album, titled "Eponymous," in the top 20 of the Billboard 200.
